
Business Requirements - Sandstone Services were engaged to prepare an Information Technology Strategy. The Strategy focused on the following issues:
- Integrity of core systems
- Quality and accuracy of information
- Clarity of roles across the organisation regarding the management and delivery of IT services
- Performance of the IT Group delivering quality services
- Ability to engage and extract value from external service providers
- Capability to manage and implement IT programs to meet requirements within financial limits
he Strategy outlined a implementation plan which included:
- Restructure of the IT Group on the basis of the business’s strategic objectives and operational requirements,
- A sourcing strategy which led to an assessment of in-house skills and subsequent resource planning
- The implementation of a service based culture, underpinned by defined service levels with the business and vendors
- A change management plan and process to support the realisation of the IT strategy
- The introduction of a governance structure and processes that had oversight of the IT Transformation program and ongoing operation
